Sat 22nd July 2006. This was a lightning strike on the house just behind where we live viewed from our patio doors. Mike found the lady who lives there in a neighbours house, she was shaken but fine. The lightning had travelled down the tv cable and blown the aerial socket and 2 power sockets (not plugs) out of the wall. In our house the strike set off the microwave (which you can hear in the video), destroyed two clocks and Ellens computer switched off and no longer works, it set the kids toothbrushes flashing. Mike saw a spark go across the front room from the telephone socket to the radiator. We are still finding things that arent working. All in all it was a storm to remember.

We got him when he was about 2 years old, nearly 12 years ago. He came from Mike's sister Dawn, who had 5 cats at that time. He is very lazy, and spends most of his time sleeping in a warm sunny place, or in his bed on the heater. We all think he's great and he likes us too.

He allows my neighbour two doors down to live with him, aswell as feed, cuddle and play with him. At this moment in time he finds this arrangement quite agreeable.
